A lot of hard work went into this. Been a lot time coming. Glad it finally went public. OPQS, Saxo and Evie and Taylor from SLULU are over there now getting a tour after todays TT. ANd on that note, was weird seeing the footage of them riding roads we ride for our lunch ride! There go all our QOMs/KOMs. pft.

Fast descent. She flew off and hit the road, bounced over the sidewalk and into the undergrowth. Took forever to find (it was a long hill and we were going fast, so I wasn’t exactly sure where it come off). Excitement soon lead to sad face. I turned it over and saw the damage. It still works, but I need new glass. Boo!

Kinda glad it happened where it did, though. We had the Mt Hermon descent after that and it woulda got crushed by traffic or something there, I’m sure.

I have basically worn this shirt for the last three days (when not on the bike). One of those days, Sunday, I went out and did an out-and-back hundo.

I rode it for Burry.

I think every now and then, when I’m feeling a bit unmotivated, I shall go and do a ride like this. For Burry. Because I think about what Christoph says in this video (embedded below):

“When you’re out suffering, you know, you can tell yourself be happy you’re here be happy you feel yourself, compared to Burry who lost his one and only life, the biggest value you actually have, and that puts things in perspective.”

Sometimes, it helps to bring your own life into focus to remember what has been taken from others.

And that’s relevant to so many things right now.
